About the Process

Dry cleaning is a bit of a misnomer in that it isn't a completely dry process. However the chemicals used contain very little water, hence the term "dry". The process itself has been around since ancient times and is a highly skilled craft, part art and part science, with many different methods. In short, not all dry cleaners are alike, which is one of the reasons you will find such great variations in price.

As a general rule, as with anything else, you tend to get what you pay for. At Prestige Cleaners, we are a Certified Environmental Cleaner, and take great pride in making your wardrobe look good. It is particularly helpful if you know the source of a stain and can point it out to our staff when you bring your garments in for cleaning.
